The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce supported last week’s Tech Fuel event, a start-up competition organized by Tech Bloc and Bexar County. A featured part of San Antonio Startup Week, the Thursday Tech Fuel finals highlighted five finalists who pitched their companies and attempted to convince the judges that the $50,000 grand prize would accelerate their company to the next level. The Chamber’s President and CEO Richard Perez presented the five finalists with Chamber memberships at the competition after-party, hosted by Alamo Angels, a supporter of local entrepreneurs.

All five finalists, not just the winner, have their businesses poised to grow, and the Chamber is ready to help them do just that. The winner, Betty’s Co. from San Antonio, is a woman’s health company.
