SAN ANTONIO (February 1, 2021) – On Saturday, Councilwoman Cabello Havrda partnered with Cano Health to bring more than 400 free flu immunizations to the Edgewood community.
“Thanks to Cano Health, one of San Antonio’s newest healthcare providers, for their generosity and commitment to investing in the health and wellness of District 6. The Edgewood area has been disproportionately impacted by the ongoing health crisis with many community members losing their lives due to the complications caused by COVID-19. Saturday’s event was one small way to show that District 6 remains committed to collaborating with Edgewood Superintendent Dr. Eduardo Hernandez and his team to improve the health outcomes in this community.”
