San Antonio: Councilwoman Viagran Recognizes Veterans Day

District 3 issued the following statement recognizing Veterans Day.

“Today, as is every day in San Antonio, District 3 is grateful to our service women and men who have put their lives at risk to protect our great nation, our Democracy, our Constitution and our freedom. Every year, our country comes together to honor every man and woman who has ever worn our nation’s uniform and recognize their sacrifice, time and commitment. District 3 also remembers those who have passed and will keep them and their families in our thoughts and prayers.

“I am a proud daughter of a Vietnam Veteran and proud to live in “Military City, USA” as we have had consistent military presence for nearly 300 years. San Antonio has one of the nation’s largest retired and active military populations,” stated Councilwoman Viagran.

“On this Veterans Day, District 3 would like to express sincere appreciation for the courage they have shown defending our Nation.”
