SAN ANTONIO (February 1, 2021) - District 2’s Councilwoman Jada Andrews-Sullivan presents Black History Month with local past and present trailblazers. The 19 local Black History videos were performed by students who attend Martin Luther King Academy for Arts Integration located at 3501 Martin Luther King Dr, San Antonio, Texas 78220 in District 2.

“It is an amazing collaboration of performance by the youth of our District 2, as we pay tribute to local Black History from the past and present. During Black History Month, let us all reflect on gratitude for the ones that have paved the way for our city and nation. Thank you to all the students, drama teacher and Council staff for your hard work and dedicated performances,” said Councilwoman Jada Andrews-Sullivan.
The District 2’s Black History Month videos can be seen on KABB channel 29 at 11:00 a.m. and WOAI channel 4 at 12 p.m. every day the entire month of February.
