District 3 attends groundbreaking of another first at Brooks

SAN ANTONIO (March 3, 2021) — Today, District 3 and Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran attended the official groundbreaking of Brooks’ first for-sale-single-family home development at Southlake on the Brooks Campus. This event had limited capacity and COVID-19 safety precautions were in place.

Southlake is an exciting new development by Terramark Urban Homes, that will offer the first for-sale housing options on the rapidly growing Brooks campus, just south of downtown San Antonio. Southlake will span over five acres on the former Air Force base and feature 60 homes with a variety of floorplans, styles, and price points.

“It has taken believers, collaborators, leaders and investors to bring this resurgence in District 3 and the Southside of San Antonio. This first for-sale housing development at Brooks is a response to many of our community members asking for this type of product, we are proud to deliver and lead the way,” stated Councilwoman Viagran. “This is the place to come, to live and be a part of the past, present and future of San Antonio.”
