SAN ANTONIO (December 21, 2020) — Saturday, Councilwoman Viagran and the District 3 team joined Ride Connect Texas in volunteering for their Holiday Giving Senior Food Distribution. This drive-thru event took place at PicaPica Plaza and registration was required. All COVID-19 safety protocols were enforced.
“District 3 is committed to making our seniors feel engaged and included – especially during the holidays. Our seniors are the heart of this community and we will always extend help where it is needed,” said Councilwoman Viagran. “Ride Connect Texas did a great job and they work so hard for our community. I saw first-hand how this event brought joy to the District 3 seniors.”

Ride Connect Texas is dedicated to older adults, people with disabilities, and those who care for them. They work to ensure all have transportation to resources and services needed to maintain independence, promote healthy aging, and live a good quality life.
