SAN ANTONIO (July 21, 2021) – Does Fluffy need some flea medication? Maybe Rover needs a rabies shot? Any of your pets need the permanent I.D. (and peace of mind) provided by a registered microchip? Animal Care Services is partnering with District 3 Councilmember Phyllis Viagran and veterinary services provider Low Cost Pet Vax for the Dog Days of Summer pet wellness clinic. The clinic will take place this coming Sunday, July 25th from 11a.m.- 4p.m. at Pet’s Barn located at 803 S.W. Military Drive. The one stop wellness clinic is aimed at ensuring taking care of our dogs and cats a little easier and a lot less expensive with free pet microchips for the first 50 pets. Low Cost Pet Vax will have ALL the vaccinations and services your pet may need at affordable prices too! Everything from inexpensive shots to flea/tick medicines and heartworm prevention...they even have low-cost packages just for your new puppy or kitten! Services are first come-first served, and all pets must be properly restrained or in an appropriate carrier.
