As we have numerous times in the past, the City of San Antonio and Bexar County stand ready to assist our Gulf Coast neighbors during a potential hurricane evacuation. Currently, we have been asked to assist with sheltering a very small number of displaced residents. Should the need to shelter more residents arise we are prepared to do so. Specific locations of shelters will not be made public to prevent potential evacuees from showing up directly to shelters before being accounted for. Please assist us with broadcasting / publishing that ALL displaced residents / evacuees need to first go to 200 Gembler Rd to be checked in, and to receive their shelter locations.
