SAN ANTONIO (September 24, 2020) – Maker Fair SA is a celebration and demonstration of the vibrant creative Maker community in San Antonio. To align with social distancing guidelines, the San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) will be hosting Maker Faire SA virtually on Saturday, September 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. via a Facebook event. Participating makers have created interactive videos that will be released throughout the event. SAPL staff will live stream a demonstration of how to turn a coloring sheet into a coaster. Makers include Lego builders, coders, robotic engineers, ghost-story writers, video game designers, and more. SAPL invites families to learn, invent, play and be inspired by arts, crafts, engineering, science & technology during this free online event open to all ages!
