San Antonio: River Walk Holiday Lights To Shine Through February 14

All visitors are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing of six feet or more from other individuals or groups.

SAN ANTONIO- The holiday lights on the River Walk will now stay on through Feb. 14. Traditionally, the lights remain on until the first weekend of the new year, but to bring more holiday joy this difficult year, they will be remaining on for several more weeks. Mayor Ron Nirenberg switched the lights on early this year on Nov. 12.

The City of San Antonio is responsible for the holiday lights on the River Walk bend, and the San Antonio River Authority is responsible for holiday lights in the Museum Reach area near the Pearl. The more than 100,000 holiday lights would cover 25 linear miles if they were laid side by side.
