Here are the top stories today in San Antonio:

  1. The search for missing 3-year-old Lina Sardar Khil continues, as San Antonio police and the FBI continue their efforts to locate her." The child disappeared on Monday evening at the Villas Del Cabo complex in the 9400 block of Fredericksburg Road and "was last seen wearing a black jacket, red dress and black shoes." Police are treating this as a missing person case, and not as an abduction. Here's everything we know so far: (KSAT San Antonio)
  2. If you're looking for things to do this holiday weekend with family, friends and out of town guests, there are several events taking place in San Antonio. "Don't miss what's new on your San Antonio Patch community calendar." Here's a list of some fun events taking place in the Alamo City this weekend: (San Antonio Patch)
  3. "Holy tamale!" An HEB grocery store located on 1604 and Blanco features a holiday display that is sure "to put you in the tamalada spirit!" The display is a Christmas tree made out of corn husks, topped with a Santa Claus hat, and placed near small pouches of masa! A store representative said, "It ended up being a team project. We just wanted to showcase the Christmas spirit. We had a huge tamale display, and that's sort of how the whole thing came about." No matter how it came about, but one thing is for sure! The display "is a monument to the popular holiday treat." Check it out: (mySA)
  4. The Magik Theatre cancelled the rest of the 'Ella Enchanted' shows scheduled through December 24 due to a positive case of COVID-19. Per Magik Theater representatives, you should have received a call from the box office with instructions, but please contact them for any questions and further updates. (mySanAntonio.com)
