Today's riddle: What do you call a belt that is made of watches? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• State of the City: Seguin prepares for its next chapter (seguintoday.com) — Seguin leaders just laid out major growth plans that will reshape local shopping, traffic, and neighborhoods, including Seguin Exchange retail, a possible downtown hotel, and new master-planned communities. They also detailed big road projects on I-10, Highways 46 and 123, and Rudeloff and Cordova roads, plus reassured residents about long-term water supplies and ongoing street repairs.
• Thomas Charles Bruns (seguintoday.com) — Seguin is mourning the passing of Reverend Thomas Charles Bruns, a longtime Episcopal priest and Rotarian who spent many years connected to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and the community. A memorial service will be held there on Thursday, October 8, with friends encouraged to honor him through attendance or contributions to the church or a favorite charity.
