Previous release June 18, 2021:
Through the Violence Intervention Program, the Austin Police Department has seized 78 firearms and made 44 arrests. The seizures and arrests were made with the assistance of the Organized and Violent Crime Divisions of APD. The Austin Police Department would like to ask for your continued support in stopping the rise of violent and gun crime in Austin.
