Austin Police Seek Help Identifying Store Robbery Suspects
Surveillance camera images released of men said to have held up Valero gas station at gunpoint on the night of Dec. 27.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — Police seek the public's help in identifying a pair of suspects connected to a convenience store robbery that occurred late last week.
The request for help comes after the Valero gas station at 2222 E. Oltorf St. was robbed just past 11 p.m. on Dec. 27. In a press advisory, the Austin Police Department said the men entered the store while demanding money and pointing a gun at the store clerk before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police released surveillance camera images of the suspects in the hopes someone might recognize them and alert them as to their identities and/or whereabouts. They are described as:

- Suspect 1: Hispanic male in his mid-teens to early 20s standing between five feet, six inches to five feet, eight inches. His estimated weight is between 110 to 120 pounds. He has short, dark hair and what appears to be a wispy mustache/goatee. He was last seen wearing a black-and-white jacket, black and white pants, a white T-shirt and white tennis shoes.
- Suspect 2: Hispanic or light skinned black male in his mid-teens to early 20s standing between five feet, six inches and five feet, eight inches. His weight is between 110 to 120 pounds, and he has short, dark hair with a clean-shaven face. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with white pants and black tennis shoes.
