South Austin Man Reported Missing Found Safe (Updated)

UPDATE: Antonio Castillo, 61, who had been reported as missing on Tuesday was found safe later that afternoon, police said at around 2:20 p.m. The man had been reported missing from the 900 block of Great Britain Boulevard after last having been spotted at around 5 p.m. on Monday.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — Police seek the public's help in locating a man reported missing from his South Austin home.

Antonio Castillo, 61, hasn't been seen since around 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, according to police. He was last seen at his home along the 900 block of Great Britain Boulevard, officials added.

Castillo is described as standing five feet, seven inches in height and weighing 170 pounds. He has pepper hair and brown eyes. He is likely wearing a Longhorns long-sleeve shirt or a red shirt and blue jeans, according to police.

Anyone with information regarding Castillo's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately. Those with information also can submit tips by downloading APD’s mobile app, Austin PD, for free on iPhone and Android.
