The first half of the school year has come to an end. Here are some dates to know when school starts back up in January.

Friday marked the last day for two weeks that public schools in Austin will be open.

  • January 4: Student Holiday - Staff Development
  • January 5: Classes Resume
  • January 18: Student & Staff Holiday Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • Febuary 15: Student Holiday - Elem. Parent Conference; Secondary Staff Development 1st Bad Weather Makeup Day
  • March 14-18: Spring Break
  • March 25: Student & Staff Holiday
  • May 27: Student Holiday - Staff Development 2nd Bad Weather Makeup Day
  • May 30 :Student & Staff Holiday - Memorial Day
  • June 2: Last Day of Classes
  • June 3: Planning & Prep
