Body Found In South Austin Apartment Complex
Police revealed few details about the case, saying only they had gotten a call describing either a shooting or stabbing.
SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — The body of a dead person was found in South Austin on Monday, police said.
The discovery was made along he 1500 block of South Lamar Boulevard after police got a call about the deceased person at 1;45 p.m., officer Destiny Winston told reporters. The call came in as a report of someone having been shot or stabbed, Winston added.
The site of the discovery is where the Post South Lamar apartment complex is located. Self-described as the city's "...premier apartment home community," the luxury apartment complex is situated near Lady Bird Lake with monthly rental rents running from $1,575 to $2,310, according to its website.

No further details were made availavle. Police urge anyone with information related to the incident to contact homicide detectives by calling (512) 477-3588.
