On September 29, 2021, at approximately 5:08 a.m., a Nissan truck was traveling northbound in the 4000 block of N IH 35 NB when it struck a pedestrian who was crossing the highway. Despite life-saving measures by emergency personnel, the pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene at 5:25 a.m. The driver of the pickup truck remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
