Deceased: Travis Douglass, White male, born April 16, 1984

Audrey Petty, White female, born 2-27-1987

Arrested: Tristen Reyna, White male, 24 years of age

The Austin Police Department (APD) has identified Travis Douglass and Audrey Petty as the decedents in the September 23 fatality crash on Medical Parkway. At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of Medical Parkway in reference to a single vehicle collision into a building. The driver, Tristen Reyna, was traveling southbound on Medical Parkway when he left the roadway and struck a building. Travis Douglass and Audrey Petty were pronounced deceased at the scene. Tristen Reyna was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter. On the date of this crash in 2020, there were 62 fatal crashes resulting in 67 fatalities. These statements are from the initial assessment of the fatal crash and investigation is still pending.
