See the latest announcement from the City of Austin.

The Texas Department of Transportation is leading a project to reconstruct I-35 through the Austin area to address safety, mobility and east-west connectivity needs. On Aug. 10, TxDOT is hosting a public open house at Huston-Tillotson University’s Davage-Durden Student Union, 900 Chicon St., Austin, from 4-8 p.m. Residents can provide feedback on the $4.9 billion project through Central Austin from US 290-E to SH 71/Ben White Boulevard.
Public feedback is a critical part of TxDOT’s environmental study and schematic design process before construction begins. Here are some of your options to get to the meeting. This is the first time the public can look at maps and ask questions in person for this environmental study.
