'Coffee With A Cop' Gathering Scheduled In South Austin
The gathering at the HEB store at 2508 E. Riverside Dr. offers chance to discuss community concerns with police.
SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Police will stage their next "Coffee with a Cop" community gathering in South Austin on Thursday.
Region 3 District representatives will be on hand at the event, designed as a way for residents to meet with their neighborhood officers in a relaxed setting. At such gatherings, residents are given the opportunity to air concerns about their community or simply show up to say thanks for their officers' service.
The event takes place Thursday, Oct. 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the HEB store on 2508 E. Riverside Dr.
