SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- A man was placed under police custody after barricading himself in his home following what police categorized as a domestic disturbance Wednesday morning. Police were called to the 10800 block of Watchful Fox Drive. The home is near the intersection of Platt River Drive south of Slaughter Lane. A standoff between the man and police ensued, KXAN News reported. The man surrendered without incident after police gained entry into the home, the station reported.
