Early-Morning Blaze Damages Two South Austin Homes

Property damage to both structures placed at $375,000, no injuries reported.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- A house fire spread to another nearby structure early Friday morning, but the inhabitants were able to escape the flames unharmed.

Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 10400 block of Wolftrap Drive just before 3 a.m., according to a report in the Austin American-Statesman. By the time firefighters arrived, the blaze had spread to another house in the 3800 block of Rocky Ford Drive.

Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused the flames. Collective damage was placed at $375,000.
