Elderly Man Gone Missing Found Dead In South Austin
David Paul Dvorchak, 69, had been the subject of an Amber Alert after leaving his home in Buda, Texas, before being found dead.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — The Travis County Sheriff's Office identified the man found dead inside a car on in South Austin on Wednesday as the subject of a prior Amber Alert from Buda, Texas.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call on Wednesday alerting them to a dead man found inside a vehicle along the 11900 block of Manchaca Road. On Thursday, officials identified the deceased person as David Paul Dvorchak, 69, of Buda, Texas.
Buda authorities had issued an Amber Alert after Dvorchak went missing while on his way to Austin, with worry about his well-being heightened given his medical conditions. The Amber Alert later was canceled late Wednesday after local officials located him inside the vehicle.

The official cause and manner of death is pending the completion of an investigation by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office. Evidence thus far in the investigation by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office does not indicate foul play and points toward natural causes.
