SOUTH AUSTIN, TX β With the world being in the shape it's in, it's ever important to think globally while acting locally. An upcoming event lives up to the spirit of that mantra, offering wares from local merchants constructed with an environmentally conscious ethos.
The Collective Humanity Ethical Market at Tom's scheduled this Sunday allows visitors to shop for products from Austin's favorite ethical brands, including Purse & Clutch, Trove, Remnant Ceramics and SixChel, a sustainable fashion line for women.
Amid the market for ethical-branded products will be food, music and giveaways. Wine offered at the market is donated by Soter Vineyards in Willamette Valley, Oregon. The event is scheduled this coming Sunday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tom's Roasting Co., 1401 S Congress Ave.
