Four People Suffer Serious Injuries In South Austin Car Wreck

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- Four people -- including two children -- sustained serious injuries after a car collision in South Austin on Friday night, according to emergency officials.

Austin-Travis County EMS officials said they received the emergency call alerting to the crash at 9:44 p.m. at the corner of Woodward Street and the East Ben White Boulevard service road.

In the aftermath of the two-vehicle crash, two adults were transported to the University Medical Center Brackenridge hospital while two children were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center.

EMS officials categorized all the injuries as serious, but not expected to be life-threatening.

No further details were provided as to the condition of the patients and the cause of the crash.
