SOUTH AUSTIN, TX - Police searched an Austin school bus after someone reported seeing a gun, but the object turned out to be a wooden rifle.The school bus was searched on Barton Springs Road at 7:10 a.m. Monday morning, police confirmed. A parent reported seeing a gun on the bus, the <a href rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">American-Statesman</a> reported. Officers stopped the bus and told students to get off but the only gun they found was a painted wooden rifle that belonged to the drill team. Police were unable to confirm which Austin school district the bus was serving.
