Man Accused Of Breaking Into Two Amy's Ice Creams Stores

AUSTIN, TX β€” A man is accused of breaking into two Amy's Ice Creams stores in the course of two months, according to a published report.

Gerard Ricasolo, 55, is accused of breaking into two stores, once in March in South Austin in the Southpark Meadows shopping center and another last month on South Lamar Boulevard near Manchaca Road, according to an arrest affidavit referenced by the Austin American-Statesman.

Surveillance camera footage is said to show Ricasolo trying to break into the South Lamar Boulevard store's safe without success, according to the affidavit.

Ricasolo was arrested last week on three counts of burglary with collective bail set at $70,000, according to Travis County Jail records. A booking photo was unavailable.
