Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Woman To Whom He Offered Ride In South Austin
Alberto Izaguirre-Izaguirre, 27, is accused of driving woman to his apartment from OK Corral nightclub and sexually assaulting her.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A man recently was arrested for sexual assault after offering a woman a ride to her car but driving her to his apartment instead, according to an arrest affidavit.
The incident occurred Friday at around 2 a.m., the Austin American-Statesman reported in referencing the affidavit. It was then that a woman said she was offered a ride as she walked to her car from the OK Corral Nightclub on Ben White Boulevard in South Austin, according to the report.
The woman was unable to find her friends after her cell phone battery died, and her vehicle was parked far away, according to the affidavit. After offering her a ride, the man instead took her to his apartment on Stassney Lane where he assaulted the victim for some 20 minutes before she escaped, according to the report.

Police identified the suspect as Juan Alberto Izaguirre-Izaguirre, 27, who was booked into the Travis County Jail on a sexual assault charge. He remained in jail as of Sunday, where he is being detained on a $100,000 bail.
