Man Dead From Gunshot Wound In South Austin (Updated)
Medics were dispatched to 300 block of West Ben White Boulevard where they obtained a dead-at-scene pronouncement for man in his 20s.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was shot dead in South Austin early Saturday, according to medics.
Just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, Austin-Travis County EMS medics said they obtained a dead-on-scene pronouncement for a male victim in his 20s. The incident occurred along the service road at the 300 block of West Ben White Boulevard.
At a subsequent news conference, police said a suspect has not been arrested as of Saturday morning. An officer briefing reporters said the shooting was a culmination of a fight between two men, and no threat to the public at large existed.
