Man Dies In Southeast Austin After Two-Vehicle Collision
Wreck occurred at Texas 71 service road just east of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport right after 6:30 a.m., officials said.

AUSTIN, TX — An early morning crash involving two vehicles on Monday left a man dead at the scene, emergency officials confirmed.
The two-car collision in the southeast part of the city occurred on the Texas 71 service road just east of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport right after 6:30 a.m. The male victim, a man in his 60s, was declared dead at the scene, according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics.
The area was closed to traffic for some time along the westbound lanes as cars were diverted northbound onto FM 973 and the Texas 130 toll road before the scene was cleared.
