Police Identify Man Killed in South Austin Shooting
The shooting happened early Thursday morning.
A man was shot and killed killed Thursday morning in South Austin, police said.
The victim, Richard Rosenberg, was shot at a storage facility on the 1600 block of Matthews Lane. Police were notified of the shooting at 1 a.m. Austin/Travis County EMS transported Rosenberg, 59, to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:45 a.m.

Police do not currently have a suspect identified in the shooting, but witnesses stayed at the scene and were cooperating with police.
