Man Shot In South Austin
Victim in his 20s sustains serious but not life-threatening injuries along 2100 block of of Conestoga Trail in southeast part of the city.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was shot in South Austin on Friday night, medics said.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics were called to the 2100 block of Conestoga Trail in the southeast part of the city at around 10:40 p.m. Friday amid reports of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The man in his 20s sustained serious yet not life-threatening injuries, medics said.
The shooting was the second in Austin on the same night. Earlier, a man shot near the Capitol sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

It's unclear what prompted either shooting or if suspects are in custody.
