Man Shot At South Side House Party

The man in his late teens was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, EMS officials said.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- A teenager was shot at a South Austin neighborhood party early Sunday, and police continue to look for the suspect.

Austin-Travis County EMS officials arrived at the 2700 block of South 2nd Street at about 3:30 a.m. after receiving reports of the shooting. Officials there said they transported the victim to University Medical Center Brackenridge with injuries they categorized as non-life-threatening.

Police said the suspect fled the scene. As of Sunday evening, no arrests had been made.
