Man Stabbed In South Austin Family Disturbance
SWAT team called out to Incident at Monterey Rancho apartment complex, 4600 Monterey Oaks Blvd., around 1:30 p.m. to detain suspect.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was arrested Saturday after being accused of stabbing another person in a Saturday afternoon family disturbance, police said.
The incident occurred at the Monterey Rancho apartment complex, 4600 Monterey Oaks Blvd., around 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Southwest Austin. The male victim was transported to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, police said.
By the time officers arrived on scene, the accused man had barricaded himself inside an apartment unit armed with a knife, prompting members of the SWAT team to be called. But police later learned the suspect was not indoors at all but outdoors. He was found shortly after the arrival, and promptly arrested without incident outside the residence.
