Man Stabbed In South Austin Hospitalized With Serious Injuries

The man in his 30s was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries after medics found him at East Oltorf Street and Parker Lane.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- Emergency medical first responders were called to South Austin Friday night after receiving reports of a stabbing.

Austin-Travis County EMS officials responded to East Oltorf Street and Parker Lane just before 9 p.m. where they found the victim, a man in his 30s, the Austin American-Statesman reported. Medics deemed his injuries as serious but not life-threatening, and he was transported to St. David's South Austin Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

There were no other details available early Saturday. Police have not disclosed if they have a suspect in the stabbing.
