Man Struck, Killed By Train In South Austin
The victim, a man in his 20s, was hit at the intersection of West St. Elmo Road and Mount Vernon Drive at around 4:40 a.m., medics said.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — A man died overnight in South Austin after being hit by a train, officials said.
The victim, a man in his 20s, died after being struck by the train early Monday at the intersection of West St. Elmo Road and Mount Vernon Drive at around 4:40 a.m. on Monday, according to Austin-Travis County medics.
Investigators from Union Pacific and local police have launched investigations in the man's death. No further details are known.
