Man Trapped Under Fallen AC Unit At Austin High School Rescued
Austin-Travis County EMS were called to Jams Bowie High School to extricate a man tapped under the air conditioning unit.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — A man at James Bowie High School was rescued on Monday after being trapped beneath a fallen air conditioning unit, emergency officials said.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the school, 4103 W Slaughter Lane, at around 3 p.m. Medics were able to extricate the adult male victim from underneath the AC unit before transporting him to St. David's South Austin Medical Center for treatment. The extent of the man's injuries is unknown, but medics categorized them as non-life-threatening.
It's unclear how the AC unit came to fall or if the injured man is a staff member at the school or a grounds worker. No other injuries were reported.
