SOUTH AUSTIN -- Emergency crews on Saturday night responded to a two-vehicle crash at Manchaca Road that resulted in serious injuries.The 10:18 p.m. collision prompted partial closure of the roadway from Fortview to Valley View roads, police said. The crash occurred at Manchaca Road and Prather Lane, according to Austin-Travis County EMS officials. The scene of the collision is just north of Ben White Boulevard. One victim was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be extracted by emergency crews before being transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge. Two other victims sustained serious injuries, and were taken to the same hospital for treatment.
