More Than 80 Employers Aim To Hire At Austin Job Expo

AUSTIN, TX — Job seekers, it's time to iron that business suit and polishing up the résumé. The city of Austin will be staging a career expo in South Austin on Wednesday.

Themed "Ignite a Network of Possibilities," the expo will take place Wednesday, April 18, at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Rd., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to meet personally with representatives from various companies, public sector entities and temporary staffing agencies.

Nearly 90 employers are registered to attend the event, all seeking to find qualified candidate to fill several open slots. Needless to say, you should definitely have several updated copies of your résumé at the ready.
