Motorcyclist Critically Injured In South Austin Traffic Collision
Man in his 50s colliding with car is rushed to South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A man sustained critical, life-threatening injuries in a collision between a car and motorcycle late Monday.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics responded to the intersection of West William Cannon Drive and West U.S. Highway 290. There, medics treated a man in his 50s before transporting him to South Austin Medical Center with serious injuries.
The collision sparked traffic congestion as investigators surveyed the scene. The condition of the car driver was unclear, and it's not known if charges will be faced or what may have caused the collision.
