Multi-Vehicle Wreck Along MoPac Sends Two Adults, One Child To Hospital: Austin EMS

Two adults and one child were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries not deemed to be life-threatening, medics reported.

AUSTIN, TX β€” A collision along southbound MoPac Boulevard on Saturday involving up to 10 vehicles sent two adults and a child to the hospital, emergency officials said.

The multi-vehicle wreck occurred at the 4400 block of MoPac (Loop 1) near U.S. 183 at around 1 p.m. Austin-Travis EMS medics said the two adults and child required hospitalization, but their injuries were not life-threatening. All told, a dozen people were involved in the multi-vehicle wreck.

It's unclear what could have caused the accident.
