Northbound Interstate 35 Main Lanes @ Oltorf Street Exit To Close

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — The Oltorf Street exit will be closed this week, transportation officials said.

Northbound Interstate 35 main lanes at the Oltorf Street exit will be closed on Wednesday, May 9, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., and the southbound lanes of I-35 will be closed on Thursday, May 10, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

During the closures, I-35 mainlane traffic will be detoured to the frontage roads at Oltorf Street. Frontage roads will be reduced to one lane during the closure, and delays are expected. The Oltorf Street bridge will be closed both nights beginning at 9 p.m., and drivers will be detoured south to Woodward Street, or north to Woodland Avenue.
