Suspect In S. Austin Shooting Leaving One Dead, Five Injured Now In Police Custody [UPDATE]
A man in his 20s was killed and five others injured after a shooting in an HEB parking lot.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- Police have a suspect in custody from Friday's early-morning shooting at a South Austin HEB parking lot.
No further details were given other then the two-sentence media update from the Austin Police Department: "Media Update: One suspect in custody and charges will be filed later today regarding Shooting on E Riverside."
The arrest stems from a shooting incident that left one man dead and five others injured shortly before 2 a.m. on Friday.

A man was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound in South Austin, where EMS officials were called to treat a total of six patients.
The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. Friday morning in the 2500 block of East Riverside, according to Austin. The site of the violence is an HEB parking lot.

According to Travis County EMS officials, the fatality is a man in his 20s who was pronounced dead at the scene.
All told, six patients were treated at the scene, EMS officials said.
Another man in his 20s sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries after also suffering from a gunshot wound, medics said. An adult female with undetermined injuries also was treated. Both were transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
Three others refused treatment, EMS officials said. The nature of their injuries wasn't immediately known.
