Pedestrian Killed By Car In South Austin
Collision that occurred just before 3:10 p.m. at East Oltorf Street and Huntwick Drive led to death of man in his 40s.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian was killed in South Austin on Thursday afternoon after being struck by a car.
The incident occurred just before 3:10 p.m. at the corner of East Oltorf Street and Huntwick Drive, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. Medics described the victim as a man in his 40s. Police later said the female driver involved fled the scene, and the collision may have been intentional as both she and the pedestrian knew each other. It's unclear if the drive has yet been arrested.
The road in the area was closed to traffic for some time to accommodate a police investigation. No further details were released.
