Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In South Austin Collision With Car
Adam Webb, 34, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital after colliding with a car along 2500 block of South Lamar Boulevard.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Police on Tuesday identified the motorcyclist killed last weekend in South Austin after a car failed to yield the right of way.
According to a preliminary police investigation, a motorcyclist riding a Triumph was traveling southbound along the 2500 block of South Lamar Boulevard on Aug. 6 at around 12:30 a.m. when a black Honda Odyssey was attempting to turn left onto the artery from Montclaire Street.
According to police, the driver of the Honda failed to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist, who was transported to St. David's South Austin Hospital after the collision. The motorcyclist, 34-year-old Adam Webb, later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.

This is Austin’s 38th fatal traffic crash and the 40th fatality of 2017. At this time in 2016, there were 39 fatal traffic crashes and 39 traffic fatalities.
