Police Investigating Fatal South Austin Car Crash
He lost control on Burton Drive, crashing into a concrete wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

AUSTIN, TX — A driver was killed after he lost control in the 2100 block of Burton Drive Thursday, Dec. 21, according to a press release from the Austin Police Department.
Shane Goldstein, 33, was driving a 1997 Honda CRV, traveling south when he lost control soon after 1:30 p.m., veering off the left side of the road, according to the Dec. 28 press release. He struck a concrete retaining wall.
Goldstein was pronounced dead at the scene. This is Austin's 71st fatal traffic crash.

Police are still investigating the accident. Anybody with information on the crash is urged to call the APD Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at 512-974-4424 or to submit a tip by using the Austin PD app, downloadable on iPhone and Android.
