Police Respond To Suicide Attempt At South Austin Gun Range
The area has been secured, and there is no immediate threat to the public, law enforcement officials said.
SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- Police reported to a gun range in South Austin -- the scene of an attempted suicide -- according to a published report.
According to the Austin American-Statesman, a man in the attempt at suicide is the only one injured in the incident. Police quickly secured the scene and have conveyed there is no threat to the public at large, according to the newspaper.
The incident occurred at around 2:45 p.m. at Red's Indoor Gun Range, located off U.S. 290 near William Cannon Drive.
