Police Searching for 3 Bank Robbery Suspects

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX - Austin police are searching for three men suspected of robbing a jewelry store in South Austin.

APD’s Air One helicopter was sweeping the 2900 block of the Capital of Texas Highway early Monday afternoon, police wrote on social media.

Police found an empty red Dodge Challenger that they believe was the getaway car, according to the American-Statesman.

A robbery was reported at a shop in the Barton Creek Square mall at 10:55 a.m., the Statesman reported.
