South Austin Man Reported Missing Found Safe (Updated)

Medical conditions heightened the urgency in locating Cody Howard, 32, last seen along 1900 block of United Kingdom Drive.

UPDATE: Cody Howard, 32, who had been reported missing on Saturday, has been found safe. Police issued an update on him Monday morning, alerting he had been found safe at around 4 p.m. on Saturday. He was previously reported missing from the 1900 block of United Kingdom Drive near Slaughter Lane.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Police are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing man last seen in South Austin on Friday.

Cody Howard, 32, was last seen along the 1900 block of United Kingdom Drive near Slaughter Lane between South 1st Street and Manchaca Road, police said in a press advisory sent to media outlets. Given unspecified medical conditions from which Howard suffers, the urgency in locating the missing man is heightened.

Howard stands at about five feet, four inches tall and weighs some 150 pounds. He has dark, short hair, is hearing impaired and likely wearing glasses. Police released a photo of Howard in the hopes someone might recognize him and alert them as to his whereabouts.
